Shared hosting is managed in DirectAdmin. You do not get SSH or root on this service — the panel is how you add domains, install apps, and manage email.
How to open it
- Log in to the client portal.
- Open your Shared Hosting service.
- Click Open Control Panel.
The portal signs you into DirectAdmin. You can also open the panel directly at https://nl-sh1.mynymhosting.net:2222 with the hosting username and password from the service page.
What you can do
- Add domains, subdomains, and redirects
- Create email accounts and forwarders
- Create MySQL/MariaDB databases
- Install WordPress and other apps with Softaculous
- Issue free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates
- Switch PHP versions (and Node.js / Python where available)
- View usage and restore from backups
If Open Control Panel is missing, the account may still be provisioning. Wait a few minutes after payment, then refresh the service page. If it stays unavailable, open a ticket.
