Mynymbox (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a privacy‑focused hosting provider. We act as the data controller for the personal data covered by this Privacy Policy, unless stated otherwise.
ScopeThis Privacy Policy applies to our websites, Client Portal, and all other services we offer (the “Services”).
Account registrationTo create and manage your account, we process the email address you provide, which also serves as your Client Portal username. You may use an alias or anonymous email service. Any requirements about keeping your contact information up to date are described in our Terms of Service.
How we use your dataWe use your data to create and maintain your account, authenticate you in the Client Portal and other control panels, provide and operate the Services, handle billing, and send strictly service‑related messages such as invoices, service status updates, and security or legal notices. We do not send marketing emails.
Data sharing and disclosuresWe do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties.
For law enforcement, we comply with valid, binding, and properly scoped legal requests and limit our response to the minimal data we hold (typically the email address used for your account and relevant technical records). Where legally allowed, we will notify you of such requests.
Payments and Payment RecordsWe process Bitcoin, Lightning, Monero, Litecoin and ZCash payments with our in-house crypto payment gateway. All other crypto payments are processed via TrocadorApp. For traditional payments we use PayPal and Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We keep payment‑related technical data, such as transaction IDs, as proof of payment, sometimes as proof of account ownership, and for bookkeeping and billing audits.
Data retentionWe retain your email address and related account data for as long as your account is active. After you close your account we delete your data within a reasonable period, unless we must retain it to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our terms. You may request faster deletion where legally and technically possible.
SecurityWe use technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our Client Portal runs on a fully encrypted device, and we encrypt data whenever feasible. We require our business partners to provide a comparable level of protection for any data we share with them.
Changes to this policyWe may update this policy from time to time. We will publish the updated version here and, for material changes, notify you via the Client Portal or email. The “Effective date” will indicate the latest revision.
